St. Andrews Episcopal School Selects Gazelle Foundation for Outreach

St. Andrew’s Episcopal School in Austin, Texas has selected the Gazelle Foundation as one of their student-driven community outreach initiatives for the 2008-09 school year.  In addition to their fund-raising activities, this effort will provide opportunities to teach the students about water issues in the world today, diverse cultures, and other relevant themes.

”We are really excited to have St. Andrew’s support,” said Gilbert Tuhabonye, Gazelle Foundation executive director.  “The kids and faculty there are making a positive impact here in Austin and in Burundi.”   Gilbert has spoken with all grade levels, offering perspectives on Burundi, the challenge of obtaining clean water in Africa, and on applying forgiveness to reduce conflict.

St. Andrew’s Episcopal School is an independent college preparatory school with over 800 students in grades 1-12.  For more information go to www.sasaustin.org
