For our first three years, the Gazelle Foundation has relied solely on volunteer power to build the Foundation and drive our mission.  Things have moved nicely, and in the last six months we have funded our first water project currently underway in Songa, Burundi and have given back in Central Texas by underwriting the costs of kids’ entry in a local running event. 

It has become clear to the Board that for continued growth, we need to commit additional resources to the Foundation.  We are pleased to announce that board member Leslie Alexander has agreed to become the Foundation’s first employee, serving as Foundation Administrator on a part-time basis.  Leslie holds regular office hours on Mondays & Wednesdays from 9:00 to 5:00 and Thursdays from 1:00 to 5:00.  You can reach her during office hours at 512-970-5179 or at lalexander@gazellefoundation.com.
