The Run for the Water is produced by the Gazelle Foundation, a local 501(c)3 organization that implements charitable efforts to improve life for people in Burundi and offers assistance to children of our community.
In order to minimize inconveniences to residents on race morning, the race is working closely with APD and the City of Austin Transportation Department to develop a traffic plan that will allow access in and out of the race route during the event. Intersections along the route will be staffed by APD officers and they will allow traffic to cross the route when safe to do so. For details about the race route, road closures and event times please see the attached documents. If you have any further questions, please email info@gazellefoundation.com or call 512-970-5179.
